The ratings for the film have all been great including Rotten Tomatoes 51% and IMBds 7.5/10.

Unbroken is a film definitely worth seeing, it is full of action and emotion and as it is based on a true story it gives us a perspective of what some soldiers actually faced during the second world war. The real Louie Zamperini was alive whilst filming was taking place for this incredible film and so his experiences and memories from the war was taken into account whilst writing the script and so the film is as accurate as possible. The book Unbroken: An Extraordinary True Story of Courage and Survival written by Laura Hillenbrand goes into more detail of the events and other action which is missed out in the film such as when Louie caught the eye of Hitler whilst running in the Olympics and after asked Joseph Goebbels to snap a picture of the German chancellor. He then shook hands with the Führer himself who said,'Ah, you're the boy with the fast finish?'

Overall the film Unbroken is a truly inspirational story and shows us that anything we achieve in life can lead onto something unexpected and with the strength and willpower anything can is possible.
