Unbroken (2014) directed by Angelina Jolie -Review-

    Unbroken is a film directed by Angelina Jolie and based on the real life story of Louie 'Louis' Zamperini. (Jack O'Connell) Louie is a very mischievous boy and so he channels his energy into running, Louie trains for years and with this he manages to qualify and become an Olympian in the 1936 games held in Berlin. Shortly after, Louie enlists into the U.S Air Force to help fight in World War II. During the war Louie survives living on a raft at sea for 47 days with two of his friends, Phil (Domhnall Gleeson) and Mac (Finn Wittrock), after his plane crashes into the Pacific. They are eventually captured by the Japanese navy; whilst being held in a Prisoner of War camp Louie becomes the target of the commander Mutsuhiro Watanabe(Miyavi) due to his Olympic title.The title Unbroken symbolises that throughout the film Louis stays strong mentally and physically against all the torture and torment he has to go through...
